TikTok connects by signing in to TikTok and authorising your profile.
Whether you can connect it at all depends on your installation. The channel appears when your installation has been configured for TikTok, and not otherwise. If it is not there, that is the reason.
TikTok also restricts the connection by region, and connections for North American accounts are unavailable while TikTok works on it. The setup screen says so when it applies to you.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Inboxes, add an inbox, and choose TikTok.
- Choose Continue with TikTok and sign in.
- Authorise the profile, name the inbox, and finish.
- Add the agents who will work in it.
Limits
- Availability is set on the installation, not in your account.
- North American accounts cannot connect at present. This is TikTok's restriction.
- The authorisation expires the way Meta's does; the channel shows a reconnection prompt when it needs signing in again.
