Slack
Some teams live in Slack. This connection posts incoming conversations into a channel you choose, and lets you decide — explicitly — whether what your team types there is visible to the customer.
Needs:
your Slack workspace, and permission to add an app to it.
What the Slack connection does
Conversations in a channel you pick
Incoming conversations are posted to one Slack channel, as threads, so a team already watching Slack sees them without opening another tool.
Two-way, or alert only
In two-way mode a reply in the Slack thread is sent to the customer, and a message beginning with `note:` stays internal. In alert mode nothing in the thread ever reaches the customer.
The conversation is still the record
Whatever happens in Slack, the conversation in Lynomia keeps the history, the assignment and the labels — so reporting does not depend on Slack.
Worth knowing
The mode is a setting, and it is worth being deliberate about: in two-way mode a Slack message without the `note:` prefix goes to your customer.
