API and webhooks
Everything the dashboard does, it does over the same documented API you can use. If the product should sit inside something you already run, this is how.
What a developer gets
A documented REST API
An OpenAPI specification, browsable in the product, covering contacts, conversations, messages, inboxes and the rest of the core.
Three ways to authenticate
A user token, an account-scoped access token or a platform token, depending on whether you are acting as a person, an application or the installation.
Signed outbound webhooks
Twelve conversation and message events are delivered to your endpoint with an HMAC signature, so you can verify that what arrived came from us.
Dashboard apps and a widget SDK
Embed your own interface beside a conversation, and drive the website widget from your own JavaScript — identity, custom attributes, open and close.
Worth knowing
The published specification covers the core API. The Lynomia-specific areas — flows, commerce, templates, analytics, support tickets and billing — do not yet have published API documentation, and webhook events for commerce, campaigns, flows, templates and tickets do not exist.
