A campaign is an outbound message to people who have not written to you yet — a prompt on your own website, or a one-off send to a chosen audience — and it lands back in the same inbox when somebody replies.
The two kinds of campaign
Ongoing campaigns on your website
Choose the pages, write the message, and visitors on those pages get a prompt from the chat widget. Replies become ordinary conversations.
One-off campaigns to an audience
Pick a saved audience, write the message, and send once. SMS campaigns need an SMS inbox; WhatsApp campaigns have their own page because they need an approved template.
Per-recipient delivery reporting
After a send you can see what happened to each recipient rather than a single success figure.
Worth knowing
There are no per-campaign send limits and no suppression lists in this product. If you need to exclude a group, exclude it in the audience filter — that is the mechanism that exists.
